A rare combination of rich industrial heritage and picturesque natural beauty. The Portland Cement Works opened in 1902 and supplied cement to some of Sydney's most iconic buildings.

The heritage buildings are now home to markets, artists and events, and to weddings that could not happen anywhere else.

Stories worth telling.

The silos were painted in 2018 by artist Guido van Helten. The six people on them are former workers whose stories are woven into the fabric of the town.

Your photos get the silos, the lake and a hundred years of brick and steel.
